Ingredients
  

  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 400 g chickpeas, drained
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter, add chopped onions.
  • Cook medium to high heat till soft.
  • Stir in brown sugar, cook further 3 - 4 minutes to caramelize sugar.
  • Place all other ingredients including the caramelized onions into food processor.
  • Puree till smooth.
  • Serve with pretzels.
